A Golden Hour Walima at Painshill Conservatory: Rabbiya and Imran’s Story
This was Day Three of Rabbiya and Imran’s wedding Celebration, set in the historic grounds of the Painshill Walled Garden. It was a late autumn day, and while the air was crisp, the atmosphere was incredibly warm. Being a preferred supplier at The Conservatory at Painshill, I regularly get to work on truly cool weddings, but this Walima was particularly special.
We planned to meet Rabbiya and Imran an hour before the wedding started. Specifically, we wanted to utilize the grounds to get some shots of the landscape and catch the last of the golden hour light. The autumn sun provided a soft, amber glow across the wildflowers, which perfectly complemented the couple’s attire. Consequently, we managed to capture some quiet, editorial portraits before the festivities officially began.
The Walima itself was warm-hearted, full of life, and a true celebration of the two families coming together. Although the setting was grand, the energy in the conservatory remained intimate and electric throughout the
evening.
